The National Network IAbiomed has been born

On January 27th a group of experts on AI applied to biomedicine met in Madrid to create IAbiomed, a National Network focused on that topic.

Karina Gibert was present as part of that group of experts, as members of IDEAI and, along Beatriz López, as members of donesCOEINF.

This first meeting focused on discussing lines of work to consolidate AI in the biomedicine field at the national level. Other discussions treated possible strategies to foster collaboration among research groups that are part of the network and to provide answers to citizen demands about the crucial challenges of using AI on biomedicine.
