Hackovid: citizen hackathon to face confinement

The Hackovid is an open, virtual event created to give answer to the social needs related to the confinement situation we are living due to COVID-19.

In order to identify these needs derived from the confinement and post-confinement, the Hackovid has engaged a participative process so the citizenship can propose its own needs and assess the most relevant ones. To provide solutions, the Hackovid invites people passionate about design and IT, developers and IT professionals to participate in an unprecedented virtual hackathon. 

In the times we are living, the IT community talent is key to develop digital tools in record time and, in this way, to solve the most worrying social needs.
